Lessons Learned
In retrospect, I should have started with a scenario, rather than adding it after the fact. I learned a lot about both the capabilities and the limitations of working with generative AI.

Business Problem and Goal
Adventure Vessels is a growing company that sells Kayaks and accessories. There have been no Sales Associates to educate customers on which kayak best fits their needs. Therefore, customers tended to buy kayaks based on looks and price. This often led to unhappy customers who wished to return their kayak.
Solution
To deal with this, the company created a new position, however, the new Sales Associates needed training on the key features of Kayaks in order to help customers purchase the kayak that would best meet their needs and skill level. The business goal of this training was to reduce returns by 30%.
Highlights
In this training you will find a variety of interactions including click to reveal, personalization using variable triggers, drag and drop knowledge checks, flip cards, a 3D room with markers, and a scenario for the learner to practice and apply skills learned.

Lessons Learned
Working with the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on this project was an enjoyable and collaborative experience. One of the key challenges was designing an eLearning course for learners who are traditionally resistant to or struggle with computer-based tasks. Given the limitations of Rise, I focused on simplifying a complex process as much as possible to ensure that seniors could navigate the content with ease and confidence.

Business Problem and Goal
Many senior citizens face challenges when trying to choose the right Medicare Drug Plan. With some insurance companies no longer compensating agents to assist seniors, there are fewer resources available for seniors to receive the help they need—often leading to confusion and frustration. While Medicare encourages seniors to navigate their website independently, the site can be difficult to use and lacks intuitive guidance.
Solution
This training is designed to empower seniors with the skills to independently navigate the Medicare website. By providing this self-sufficiency, the health insurance agent can focus on other critical aspects of their job during the open enrollment period, ensuring that their clients receive the best service possible.
Highlights
This course contains many interactive elements including a scenario, a process, a three column grid, a labeled graphic with markers that helps the learner navigate the website, compare plans, and choose the best one. It also has a 5 question assessment to reinforce learning.

Lessons Learned
Becoming a trauma-informed workplace is a complex and long-term process—it's not a quick fix or an easy shift for any company. To address this, I narrowed the focus to two key lessons, while still introducing foundational concepts that help learners better understand their own reactions. By doing so, the training empowers managers to support their employees in navigating their own emotional responses, ultimately fostering a more empathetic and effective work environment.

Business Problem and Goal
After navigating the challenges of the pandemic, which deeply affected employees and their families, Styles[Trending] employees then faced a natural disaster. A year after recovery, the company saw significant declines: 50% lower productivity, 25% higher absenteeism, 10% increased disciplinary actions, and higher turnover.
Solution
This training was developed to educate upper management on converting the workplace into a trauma-informed setting. Recognizing the need for trauma-informed practices, the CEO initiated this training to help upper management address these issues. The first two lessons were specifically designed to reduce disciplinary actions and create a supportive work environment.
